Professors Emma Coleman Jordan (Georgetown University Law Center), Anita Hill (Brandeis University), and Beverly Guy-Sheftall (Spelman College) will be hosting the academic conference Context and Consequences: The Hill-Thomas Hearings Twenty Years Later. The Conference marks the Twentieth Anniversary of the Hill-Thomas Hearings and will serve as a forum for the exchange of ideas among distinguished members of the media, scholars, and policy makers, concerning issues of race, gender, and authority in American society.
