Advanced Legal Ethics Seminar
Professor Michael Frisch J.D. Seminar 055 | 3 credit hours This seminar treats in depth some of the significant ethical concerns in the practice of law in the private sector and public service. Some of the issues include the regulation of the legal profession, conflicts of interest, the duty of confidentiality, advertising and client solicitation, delivery of legal services to those in need, and related questions. Students write a paper meeting the Upperclass Legal Writing Requirement on a topic related to contemporary ethical and moral problems of the legal profession. Prerequisite: Any offering in the "Professional Responsibility" series.
