Professor William Causey J.D. Course 165 | 4 credit hours This course provides a general survey of the rules of evidence and the reasons underlying these rules. Included are the subjects of relevance, examination of witnesses, privileges, expert testimony, admission and exclusion of evidence, writings, the hearsay rule and its exceptions, and scientific evidence, among other subjects relating to the regulation of proof at trials. Recommended: Prior or concurrent enrollment in Civil Procedure (or the equivalent Legal Process and Society) or Criminal Procedure or Criminal Law.
