Canon Law
Professor Orsy J.D. Course 051 | 2 credit hours After a brief historical introduction the course will focus on two major themes: (1) The Interpretation of Laws,” and (2) “The Law of Marriage and Family.” The study of the rules for interpretation is helpful for the understanding of the spirit of the laws; the study of the institutions of marriage and family demonstrates how the norms are applied in practice. Published texts by the Professor will be available for both topics. Students may not receive credit for both this course and Canon Law: Family Law.
