International Commercial Arbitration
Professor Anne Marie Whitesell LL.M Seminar 2047 | 1 credit hours This course will introduce the basic concepts of international commercial arbitration from both a theoretical and practical perspective. It will provide a general overview of the subject, and subsequently focus on issues including the agreement to arbitrate, the constitution and duties of the arbitral tribunal, the conduct of the proceedings and the arbitral award. The course will refer to the ICC Rules of Arbitration in discussing many of the practical aspects of these issues. Mutually Excluded Courses: Students may not receive credit for both this course and International Commercial Arbitration (882).
