Environmental Research Workshop
J.D. Seminar 156 (cross-listed) | 3 credit hours
The Environmental Research Workshop has three primary objectives: (1) to acquaint students with some of the best contemporary scholarship in environmental law; (2) to create an intellectual forum at Georgetown that brings together some of the nation's foremost academic scholars and environmental law- and policy makers for the exchange of ideas, and to allow students to participate in that forum; and (3) to provide students with an opportunity to produce some substantial legal scholarship on an environmental law-related topic. The centerpiece of the course is a series of workshop meetings during which a leading academic or practitioner will present a paper or other written material, followed by commentary.
Note for LL.M. students: THIS COURSE REQUIRES DEPARTMENTAL PERMISSION TO ENROLL FOR LL.M. STUDENTS. Please contact Dean Vicki Arroyo via email at firstname.lastname@example.org for permission to take this class.
