Antitrust Law
Professor Kovner J.D. Course 038 | 3 credit hours This course covers the major federal antitrust statutes and related federal agency guidelines, with a primary focus on government efforts to promote competition through the Sherman Act, the Clayton Act, and Section 5 of the Federal Trade Commission Act. Emphasis is placed on the growing use of economic analysis and other modern trends in judicial interpretation of these statutes, and on recent case law addressing vertical and horizontal restraints, monopolization, and mergers. [Students may not receive credit for both this course and Antitrust Economics and Law.] Students may not receive credit for both this course and Antitrust Economics and Law.
